The re-make of Arnie's Total Recall or perhaps just another imagining of Stephen King's book, which I've read and is…different to the movie. I fully expect this version to be gritty and dark because a) that's what Hollywood seems to think sells because Dark Knight made so much money and b) that's what the source material is. Colin Farrell is set to star, Len Wiseman direct and the budget is an astronomical $200M. The movie starts filming in March and is being bankrolled by Columbia Pictures.

I actually think it could work quite well as long as they stick more closely to the book, which had far more blood, guts, terrorism and depravity than the 1990 film. We will see. Somehow with that budget I can't see the broken limbs and spilled entrails making it onto screen. Too much of a risk.
